Tracy Rivers has never been very interested in making ordinary things.

She likes art with personality. Art that makes you stop, look a little closer, smile, and maybe wonder, “How did she even think of that?”

​

After studying design and art with an emphasis in 3D at the University of Central Arkansas, Tracy turned that creative curiosity into Angelfish Studios in 2001. What started as a love for creating has grown into more than two decades of dreaming up original art for homes, businesses, designers, and collectors across the South and beyond.

​

And she’s definitely not finished experimenting.

​

Today, Tracy is continuing to push her creativity in new directions through AF Decorative alongside her husband and fellow artist, Jean Da Silva. Their adventures have taken them beyond Arkansas and into studios abroad, because apparently Tracy’s version of traveling includes finding new things to learn, new ideas to bring home, and probably another reason to make something.

Along the way, her work has traveled from Arkansas to the Florida coast and has been featured in Country French, Architectural Digest, and Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

But for Tracy, the best part has never been collecting accomplishments. It’s creating something that makes someone feel something. A little happier. A little more inspired. A little more willing to fill their home with things they genuinely love.

​

She also pours that same energy into mentoring other artists, encouraging them to experiment, push boundaries, create often, and find their own voice.

Because Tracy believes life could always use a little more creativity, a little more personality, and a whole lot more joy.
